Varifocals Multifocal Lenses

As the name suggests, the Comfort varifocal lenses are designed for people who need clear vision at more than one distance without changing between separate pairs of glasses. They provide a smooth progression from distance vision at the top of the lens, through an intermediate zone for tasks such as using a computer, to near vision for reading. Unlike bifocal lenses, varifocals have no visible line, giving them a more natural appearance and a gradual change in focus. Comfort varifocals are often a good choice for first-time or general regular wearers as their wider viewing areas can make it easier to adapt to everyday activities. If you are new to varifocals, Your Technician can help you choose the right lenses for your prescription, lifestyle and frame choice.
